Dr. Radisav Vidic, a Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh, is hoping that the shale gas brings economic prosperity to the region and helps in its part to address the global climate change issues. In Gas Rush Stories, part 8, Dr. Vidic talks about the studies he is leading that try to mitigate the long-term environmental impacts of the gas industry.
We will also see what hydraulic fracturing looks like in action.
