1988 Dixboro School Centennial ~ "We climbed a high tree to eat our lunch!"

The red-brick schoolhouse on the Dixboro Village Green has seen fire-and-rain, especially considering the first school house, located just west of the current building, burned down. Dixboro Church Historian, the late Ivan Parker and his sister, the late Leona Parker Bunnell, talk about the history of the school including its diverse pupils. Parker and Bunnell were both students and later teachers there.
